Bill was born on July 21, 1939, at the family farm on Center Rd., his parents were William A. Seddon & Velda Opperman. He was an only child and was taught at an early age to work and help on the family farm. By the age of 8, he was driving the John Deere. He graduated from Mayville High School with the class of 1957. He married the love of his life, Nancy Matthews, on February 26, 1988, and they had just celebrated 35 years of marriage on February 26, 2023.
Bill had four sons: Michael, Mark, Marvin, and Monty; he also had three sons-in-law and four stepdaughters: Mark & April Colosky, Rich & Lisa Hebner, Karri Bouchard, Leo & Kathy Gruzas; seven grandchildren from his daughters and three-great-grandchildren.
Bill was known as “Wild Bill” but had a heart of gold and a strong faith in God. Bill farmed all his life until he retired in 1994 due to health issues.
Bill entered heaven to be joined by his three brothers-in-law, ready to play a game of thirteen!
He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He brought so much joy and laughter to our family. Bill will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
