Tommy Sheets

Tommy Sheets of Millington passed away Wednesday August 3, 2011 while at the Brians Hospice House in Davison, Tommy was 74.

Tommy was the son of the late Emmitt and Blanche (Schultz) Sheets, and was born September 23, 1936 in Princeton West Virginia. On April 4th of 1962 Tommy married his wife of 49 years, Miss Betty Surgener. Tommy retired in 1992 from the Chevy Truck Plant after 28 years of employment; Tommy also served our country doing a tour of duty with the US-Army in Germany.

Tommy leaves his wife Betty, children Mary Swartz, Carol Erwin, and Tim Sheets, as well as numerous grandchildren, and several great grandchildren, other extended family and friends. The funeral service was held on Monday August 8th, 2011 at the Pineview Mennonite Church Vassar, MI 48768. The burial followed at the Millington Twp. Cemetery. Pastor Roger Hazen delivered the funeral message and the closing committal prayers at the cemetery. Memorial gifts for remembrance can be directed to the Brian's House Hospice Center in Davison MI or to the Pineview Mennonite Church.
