Tarryn Lisa (Hagle) Austin, of Millington, age 39, finished her Earthly journey peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on Nov. 3rd, 2019. She was born September 28, 1980 at St. Joseph Hospital in Flint, Michigan to parents Michael and Richelle Hagle. She was joined by brother Max 7 years later. She attended Millington Schools, graduating in 1998. Tarryn earned a Bachelor degree from Baker College, then spent many years as "the boss' right-hand man" at C.F. Stinson.
After Tarryn' s breast cancer diagnosis and treatment, she embarked upon a new course with the imperative goal of helping others. She created a blog/website called Getting Golden, where she chronicled her experiences, sharing her insights and knowledge. This can still be read today. She became a certified Life Coach and formed a healing and wellness support group.
She also loved animals and volunteered at the Genesee County Animal Shelter, rescuing "Lovey" and helping her find her forever home. Tarryn never stopped exploring her thoughts, pursuing new knowledge and insight, marveling at nature, and forever sought to grow and refine the love around her. She touched many lives and made countless friends.
Tarryn leaves to cherish her memory Mother Richelle (Ricki) Cobb Hagle, Father and Stepmother Michael (Mike) and Shelley Hagle, Brother Max Hagle, Stepbrothers Nick Stratton and Nathan Colman, Grandmothers Mildred Hagle and Elaine Cobb plus a large extended family. Tarryn is preceded in death by her Grandfathers Bernard Hagle and Richard (Dick) Cobb, her Cousin William (B.J.) Leach, best friend Jeni Dotson, and canine soulmate Sumo.
