Susan D. Detgen

Susan Diane Detgen of Millington went home to the Lord on Tuesday, September 10, 2024. She was 66 years old.

Sue was born on February 13, 1958 in Harbor Beach, Michigan to Glenn and the late Nancy (Badgley) Detgen. She graduated from Millington High School in 1976 and worked for many years at Kaumagraph in Millington. Sue loved Jesus and spent much of her time in His Word. Sue enjoyed camping with her family and time spent with her nieces and nephews. She also loved a good family card game.

Left to cherish Sue’s memory are her father, Glenn Detgen, siblings Danny & Marion Detgen, Judy & Tom Warner and Glenda Cunningham. She also leaves nieces and nephews Matt & Annette Cunningham, Sarah Cunningham, Jessica & Chris Beringer, Christina & Chad Church, Melissa & Jordan Engelhart, Ryan Detgen, Jenna Warner, Tyler & Lindsey Warner, along with 13 great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Detgen, and grandparents Jim and Isabelle Badgley and Henry & Tressa Detgen and John Arnold.

Visitation will take place on Friday, September 13, 2024, at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington, MI from 12:00-2:00 pm. Funeral service will also be held on Friday, September 13, 2024, at 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Rev. Timothy Martinal will preside. The burial will follow at Millington Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Diabetes Society.
