Sue Sayles

MILLINGTON – Sue Sayles, age 64, our loving, caring, faithful, and hardworking wife, mom, grandma, aunt, neighbor, and friend, passed on Thursday, March 10, 2022.

Sue (Woodward) Sayles was born in Flint, Michigan, on May 12, 1957, to the late Morris and late Hannah (Hope) Woodward. Sue met the love of her life, Gregory Sayles.  They were united in marriage on December 3, 1988. Together they celebrated 33 years of marriage. Sue enjoyed candy making, crafting, sewing, and spending time in the sun. Above all, Sue’s greatest joy was being devoted to and spending time with her family. Sue will be so dearly missed.

Sue is forever loved by her husband, Gregory Sayles; three children: Ira (Jennifer) Ewald, Greg (Tiffany) Sayles II, and Gerome (Kimberly) Sayles; seven grandchildren: Carter Ewald, Reagan Ewald, Lauren Sayles, Jenna Sayles, Brady Sayles, Ayden Sayles, and Ava Sayles; dog daughter, Izzy; brother, William Woodward; sister, Miriam Shay; several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Marty.

A Celebration of Sue’s life will be held at the Vassar Eagles (651 State rd, Vassar MI) on Monday March 14th from 3-6pm.
