Sandra (Sandy) (Szabo) Becker

Mrs. Sandy Becker (Szabo) of Millington, MI passed away late Thursday afternoon December 17, 2020 at the age of 81.

Sandy was born on October 7, 1939 in Flint, Michigan and was the daughter of the late Wayne and Eleanor (Copenhaver) Disbrow. In February of 1979 Sandy married Charlie Becker and together they celebrated 35 years of marriage before Charlie passed away in October 2014. Sandy enjoyed life and living it to the fullest.

Sandy leaves her family; Kori (Bob) Sherman, Paula Szabo, Sherry (Tim) Berlin, Lori Indish and Tim (Susan) Szabo. Two Stepchildren; Shannon & Tim. Eleven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She also leaves a sister Dar Forgie, several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Besides her husband and parents preceding her in death, Sandy is also preceded by a granddaughter Jennifer (Berlin) Stepnak.

The family will greet guest to pay their respects on Tuesday December 22, 2020 at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington, Michigan from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm.  Mask will be required, and we ask that you observe social distasting. The family will honor Sandy’s wish and cremation will follow with private burial with her husband Charles at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
