Russell (Rusty) Jewell Jr.

Russell W. (Rusty) Jewell Jr. of Vassar and Millington passed away Sunday November 13,2022 at the age of 62.

Rusty was born July 6, 1960, in Flint Michigan and was the son of Russell & Patricia Jewell Sr. Rusty was employed with Union Local #149 as a Roofer and retired after 30 years. Rusty loved hunting, fishing, spending time with family and friends and his many rides on his Harley.

Rusty leaves to cherish his memory, his family.  Two children Tasha Jewell, Travis Jewell, and his mother Patricia Jewell. He also leaves his siblings; sister Sheila Jewell, two brothers Gregory Jewell, Roger (Kim) Jewell, his companion of  nine years Carri Jaworski, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.  Rusty is preceded in death by his father Russell Sr, and a brother, Daniel.

In keeping with Rusty’s wish cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial gathering to celebrate Rusty’s life on Sunday December 4, 2022, from 1:00pm until 5:00 pm at the Arbela Twp. Hall. Memorial Gifts of Remembrance can be directed to a charity of one’s choice. Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington has been assisting with arrangements for Rusty.
