Mr. Ross R. Brown of Millington passed away late Friday morning September 26, 2014 while at the McLaren Regional Medical Center of Flint, Ross was 68.

The son of the late Bird & Florence (Berlin) Brown Ross was born in Flint, Michigan on June 28, of 1946. Ross was employed for 30 years with General Motors working assembly at Buick City in Flint, Michigan, Ross retired in 2000. He loved spending time with family and friends. He made many trips to the family deer camp and never left the camp, but he was there to be with everyone and to play cards.

Ross leaves his family two sons and a daughter in-law, Chad & wife Darlene Brown, and son Jody Brown, a grand daughter Sarah Brown, a brother and sister in-law Les & wife Pat Brown, four sisters, Wanda & husband James Klauka, Shirley Daly, Jean Brown, Janet & husband Jim Knapp, 2 sisters in-law, Jeannie Brown, and Geri Brown, as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Besides his parents Bird & Florence, Ross is also preceded in death by, 4-brothers, Vern, Orie, Larry, and Gail, a sister Judy Brown, an infant niece and a brother in-law Tom Daly.

Service Information

Funeral services for Ross were held on Wednesday Oct. 1, 2014 at the Hanlin Funeral Home. The burial followed at the Millington Township Cemetery.
