Ronald L. Couch

Ronald L. Couch, expectedly passed away at his home in Millington, Michigan on Wednesday, December 13, 2023.

He was born on July 15, 1937, in Flint, Michigan. He married the love of his life, Judy, at a young age. Ron had a commendable experience in the U.S. Navy before transitioning to a dedicated career at General Motors. He was a devout Christian. He served the East Arbela Church of Christ for decades, eventually taking the role of interim minister.

His wife, Judy, preceded him in death on December 19, 2022. He is survived by his daughter, Laura; son, Stephen (Barbara); his four grandchildren: Deanna (Michael) Yats, Jonathan (Lisa) Vida, Anthony (Emily) Vida, and Stephen Jr.; great-grandchildren: Harper, Sadie, Hadley, Fox, Max, and Lauren, as well as many step-grandchildren. He served as a father figure for his twin grandsons and granddaughter, teaching them humility, morality, and integrity.

Ron was a soft spoken, patient, and humble man. He loved his family and friends dearly. Carpentry was his hobby, for which he eventually became an expert. He did not like to watch movies because they were "too long". Taco night was his favorite. He was a Hero who never bothered to wear a cape.

Now that he is at peace, he has happily joined his wife in Heaven.

Funeral services for Ron will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at Hanlin Funeral Home - Millington; visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
