Richard Cooper

Richard Cooper of Vassar, Michigan passed away Sunday September 20, 2020.Richard was 57.

Richard was born in Flint, Michigan on March 9, 1963, and was the son of the late Clarence & Gloria (Fifield) Cooper. Richard was currently employed with the Pro-Pave Asphalt. He loved rabbit hunting and raising beagles. He belonged to the Eastern Michigan Beagle Club, where he ran his beagles in competition.  He loved spending time hunting, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.

Richard leaves his children; April (Steve) Reinert, Richard Cooper, and Seth Cooper, three grandchildren, Lydia, Daymien, and Elliot. He also leaves his siblings; Gail Cooper, Retha Taylor, Paula Knickerbocker, Sharon Brown, and David Cooper, as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington, Michigan on Friday September 25, 2020 from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm. Funeral services for Richard will also be on Friday beginning at 1:00 pm. At Richard request cremation will then take place with a private burial of his urn.  Memorial gifts of remembrance can be directed to the family. Hanlin Funeral Home has been assisting with the arrangements.
