Ralph Wormer

June 23, 1935 — June 24, 2012

Ralph James Van Wormer of Mt. Morris Twp. Michigan, formerly of Millington passed from our world into God's Kingdom Sunday afternoon June 24, 2012 with his family at his side, Ralph was 77.

Ralph was born on June 23, 1935 in Flint, Michigan and was the son of the late Ralph Lee & Gladys (Kennedy) Van Wormer. On June 29, 1957 Ralph married his wife of 55 years Marilyn Schlucklebier.

Ralph retired in 1984 after 33 years of service on the Rail-Road as a welder. Ralph was a longtime member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Millington and until recently had been a longtime Millington resident.

Ralph leaves his wife Marilyn, three children son Allen & wife Debra Van Wormer, son Brian Van Wormer & his friend Beckie and her daughter Gina, daughter Cindy Foskett, six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, a sister Mrs. Darlene Ball, as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family. Besides his parents Ralph is also preceded in death by a brother Bruce Van Wormer.

Service Information

Funeral services were held Saturday June 30, 2012 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Millington, with the burial that followed at the Millington Twp. Cemetery.
