Philip Paul Bongard passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2020. He was 21.
On March 25, 2020 Philip Paul Bongard decided to go home on his own terms. While his light is out here on Earth, his memories continue to shine brightly. Among those memories, Philip will be remembered for his love of hunting, fishing, jeeping and four wheeling. His other passions included music, cooking, and helping others in their time of need. Philip’s sense of humor, well timed jokes, and love for a good pun will be deeply missed. In his precious 21 years of life he has left an impression on us all that we will never forget.
Philip was born on March 17, 1999 to Glenn and Doreen (Cottle) Bongard. He was raised alongside his siblings Rachel (Bongard) Miller and Joseph Bongard in Millington, Michigan. There he graduated class of 2017 before heading off to college. Philip was known for chasing the things he loved and above all his girlfriend Alyssa Cook.
Philip is forever loved by his parents Glenn and Doreen (Cottle) Bongard; siblings Rachel (Logan) Miller and Joseph Bongard; nephew Garrick Miller and niece Hensley Miller; his love Alyssa Cook; grandparents Phil and Janet (Campbell) Bongard and Paul Cottle. Along with many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. Philip is preceded in death by his grandma Burdeen (Pool) Cottle.
