Mr. Otis Wayne Miracle of Vassar, Michigan passed away Friday afternoon January 10, 2020 at the age of 76.

Wayne was born on December 5, 1943 in Bell County, Kentucky and was the son of the late Lester and Shrilda Miracle.  On June 17, 1984 Wayne married Ruth (Hallett) Hawley, and together they have celebrated 35 years of marriage. Wayne retired from General Motors, working throughout his career as an insurance and benefits coordinator.

Wayne (known to some as Odie) was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. Wayne would always be found outside working in his garden or in his pole barn tinkering on his fishing boat or making up some lure's. He and Ruth Ann enjoyed garage sales and antiquing. Wayne also enjoyed wheeling and dealing at the local flea markets. He loved a good debate, spending time with his family, and helping at his Church.

Wayne leaves his wife and family to cherish his memory. Wife; Ruth Ann, his children; Betsy (Jim) Coakley, Tina Kent, Wayne (Deana) Miracle, Jeniece Hughes, and Robert (Jenny) Hawley. He leaves also eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, four sisters, five brothers, many nieces, nephews, his friend and neighbor Dave, extended family, and friends.

The Miracle family will welcome friends on Tuesday January 14, 2020 at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington, MI for a time of visitation and sharing from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm. There will be a brief time of visitation on Wednesday January 15, 2020 beginning at 10:00 am at the Millington United Methodist Church. Funeral services for Wayne will be held on Wednesday January 15, 2020 at the Millington United Methodist Church beginning at 11:00 am with the burial to be at the Hadley Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.  Memorial Gifts of Remembrance can be directed to the Arbela United Methodist Church.
