Nancy Jean Seddon was born on December 14th, 1941, her parents were Ira & Florence Matthews. She had a large, beautiful family and was one of nine siblings. Nancy loved to talk about her first job at the Curly Cone in Millington and how much she loved to eat the ice cream. She married the love of her life, William Seddon, on February 26th, 1988, and they had just celebrated 35 years of marriage on February 26th, 2023. Nancy was a homemaker and loved to run William his lunch to the fields everyday to show her love for him.
Nancy had four daughters and three sons-in-law, April & Mark Colosky, Lisa & Rich Hebner, Karri Bouchard, and Kathy & Leo Gruzas. She had seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Nancy loved to give to the Salvation Army (Red Kettle) every year or to anyone in need. She had a heart of gold and a strong faith in God.
Nancy loved to play a good game of thirteen, but was a master sandbagger. You always knew you were not going to win when she had that little grin on her face.
Nancy loved to feed the birds and was always bird watching and looking up birds in her bird books. Her favorite bird was the red Cardinal and would always say "When a Cardinal appears, angels are near". We will all think of you whenever we see a Cardinal appear and all know our angel is near.
Nancy was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother to us all. She made every holiday and birthday special with her cards and gift bags for everyone. We all love you and will miss you, but you will never be forgotten.
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anoinest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. - Psalms 23
