Mr. Wilmer Bleuer

October 25, 1925 — August 29, 2015

Mr. Wilmer F. (Bill) Bleuer of Millington passed away early Saturday August 29, 2015 while at the Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc MI. Wilmer was 89.


Bill was the son of the late Ernst and Tillie (Rabe) Bleuer and was born in West Bend Iowa on Oct. 25, 1925. On October 13,, 1950 Bill married Miss Betty Sykes, and together they have celebrated 64 years of marriage. Bill served our country during WW – II in the US Navy, he was also a long time member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church. Bill retired from the Tuscola County Road Commission. Family was very important to Bill he loved spending time with them all especially the grandchildren.


Bill leaves his wife Betty. He leaves also his children; Suzanne, Mark and his wife Karen, Sandra and husband Roger, Keith and wife Carol, and Paul; Bill leaves also eight grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, a sister Delores, and other extended family and friends. Besides his parents Bill is also preceded in death by his siblings; Herman, Esther, Lorene, Leroy, Phyllis, and Harlan.


The family has honored Bill's request and cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of his life on Friday September 4, 2015 at 11:00 am at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Millington. The family will receive friends at the church an hour (10:00 am) prior to the services beginning. Memorial gifts of remembrance can be directed to the St. Paul Lutheran Church. There are no services at the funeral home.
