Mrs. Marilyn Wormer

Mrs. Marilyn J. (Schluckebier) Van Wormer of Mt. Morris Twp. formerly of Millington passed away late Sunday evening September 1, 2013 at her residence, Marilyn was 76.

A long time Millington resident before moving to Mt. Morris Twp. Marilyn was born in Saginaw MI on May 19, 1937 and was the daughter of Alfred & Linda (Hess) Schluckebier. On June 29th of 1957 Marilyn married Ralph Van Wormer and together they celebrated 55 years of marriage before Ralph's passing in June of 2012. Marilyn has been a long time member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Millington MI.

Marilyn leaves her three children, Allen & Debra Van Wormer, Brian & Beckie Van Wormer, and Cindy Foskett, six grandchildren, a sister Mrs. Loraine Petzold, and several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Funeral services where held at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Millington on Thursday September 5, 2013; Pastor James Bruner delivered the funeral message and the closing prayers at the cemetery.
