Mrs. Marian Lumsden

Mrs. Marian A. Lumsden of Fostoria Mi passed away early Friday evening while at the St. Mary's Medical Center in Saginaw, Marian was 85.

Marian A. Manwell the daughter of the late John & Mable (Scott) Manwell. Marian was born on November 20, 1925 in Fostoria MI. On January 26 of 1946 Marain married her husband of 49 years the late Rev. James B. Lumsden. Rev. Lumsden passed away in January of 1995. Marian was a member of the Millington United Methodist Church, were for many years she served the church in many ways.

Mariann leaves her children, daughter and son in-law Shirley & Bill Jernstadt, five sons and four daughters in-law, Jim & Diana Lumsden, Bob & Kirsti Lumsden, Don & Char Lumsden, David Lumsden and Gary & Ryo Lumsden, fourteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, a brother Howard Manwell, and a sister in-law Shirley Manwell, surviving also are several nieces, nephews, and other extended family. Besides her husband and parents Marian is also preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn Brown, and Isabel Brown, three brothers, Clinton, Lewis, and Ray Manwell. Funeral services were held on Wednesday May 25th, 2011 at the Millington United Methodist Church. Pastor Pete Crawford delivered the funeral message and the closing prayers at the cemetery. Burial followed at the Watertown Twp. Cemetery in Fostoria Michigan. Memorial gifts of remembrance can be directed to the Millington United Methodist Church.
