Mrs. Lois E. Warren of Millington passed away Wednesday afternoon January 14, 2015 with her family close to her side, at the Tuscola County Medical Care Facility in Caro, MI; Lois was 82.
Born on April 23rd of 1932 in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan, Lois was the daughter of the late John and Blanche (Thoresen) Senogles. On December 31st of 1954 Lois married William D. (Bill) Warren. Together Lois and Bill celebrated 59 years of marriage before Bill passed away on February 23, 2014. As a young woman, Lois pursued a career in nursing, starting at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, IL. She put her career on hold when she and Bill started a family. Lois raised their seven children, and also worked side-by-side with Bill operating their businesses: Warren's Mobil Gas & Service Station, The White Tornado Wrecker Service, and The Tire Shop. Lois returned to nursing after her children were older, going back to school and reestablishing her career in nursing. She worked as a Registered Nurse and retired from Bay Medical Center, now known as McLaren Hospital of Bay City, Michigan. Lois was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Vassar. During her children's school years she served on the Vassar Board of Education. She was a gifted artist, painting acrylic and oil canvases as well as watercolors; in her later years she also enjoyed china-painting.
Lois leaves her children: daughter Lynn Nigl, daughter Roxy & husband John Aliff, son Eric & wife Sofia Warren, daughter Helen & husband Terrence Crown, daughter Rhoda & husband Ronald Daniel, son Matthew Warren, and daughter-in-law Nina Warren. She also leaves 19 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. Besides her husband and parents, Lois is preceded in death by her son Mark in 2010, as well as her 5 siblings.

Funeral services were held on Monday January 19, 2015 at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington. The burial followed at the Millington Township Cemetery.
