Mrs. Joyce McCrandall

Mrs. Joyce McCrandall formerly of Millington passed away Friday morning April 19, 2013 at the Melody Gardens Assisted Living in Flint, MI, Joyce was 80 years old.

Joyce was born in Flint, Michigan on November 23, 1932 and was the daughter of the late Earl & Lillian (Angers) Mirgon. In 1953 Joyce married John C. McCrandall. Together she and John celebrated 57 years of marriage before Johns passing in May of 2010. Joyce lived in Millington many years and Millington is where she and John raised their family. For a time Joyce drove school bus for the Millington Public Schools, and she also worked for a time at the Millington Twp. District Library.

Joyce leaves her children, Jim & Lea McCrandall, Janice McCrandall, Rev. Joel & Jennifer McCrandall, and Judy & Jim Suttle, 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and a brother William & wife Nancy Mirgon, as well as nieces, nephews and other extended family. Besides her husband and parents Joyce is also preceded in death by two son's Jeff in 2005 and John in 1971.

A celebration service for Joyce was held also on Wednesday April 24, 2013 at the Hanlin Funeral Home. The family has honored Joyce's request and cremation has taken place.
