Mrs. Jean Beagle

Jean W. (Wetherwax) Beagle went to be with our Lord on December 21 at Cranberry Park Assisted Living in Clio. Jean was 89.

Jean was born on April 3, 1927, to Lewis and Irene Wetherwax. On October 16, 1948, she married Clayton Beagle. Jean worked at Buick Motor Division for 10 years. The next several years were spent raising her children. Jean began working for Dr. Maurice Chapin in 1965. She worked for Dr. Chapin as Office Manager until retiring in 1999.

Jean is survived by her children Larry (Cathy) Beagle and Sharon Palis; grandchildren Trevor, Kyle, and Lisa Beagle; and great-grandchildren Kaylynn and Emma Jean. She is also survived by two brothers: Verle (Sharon) Wetherwax and Merle (Linda) Wetherwax along with several nieces and nephews. Jean was preceded in death by her husband Clayton and brother Don.

The Beagle family will receive friends at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington, MI on Tuesday Dec. 27, 2016 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral services for Jean will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday Dec. 28, 2016 at the Millington United Methodist Church; there will be a brief time of visitation at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the services begin. Contributions can be made to the Millington United Methodist Church or the Millington Arbela Fire Department.
