Mrs. Gloria Mercier

Mrs. Gloria J. Mercier of Davison passed away early Friday morning June 6, 2014 while at the Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc Michigan, Gloria was 69.

Gloria was born in Flint, Michigan on May 26 of 1945 and was the daughter of Eugean & Dorathea (Cole) Kern. Gloria spent many wonderful years of marriage with her husband Gerald before his passing. They were both very active in the Secord & Gladwin Fraternal Order of the Eagles.

Gloria leaves her children; Dave Mercier & girlfriend Michelle, Teresa & husband Tony Marks, and Kristine & husband Carl Simmons, five grandchildren; Tiffany, Mathew, Tabatha, Alex, and David, three great-grandchildren, Andrea, Destiney and Brailynn. Gloria leaves also her mother Mrs. Dortha Kern a sister; Janice & husband Bill Moore, a brother Donald Kern, and several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Besides her husband Gerald, Gloria is also preceded in death by her father Eugen Kern, and a brother Bruce Kern.

Funeral services were held on Monday June 9th, 2014 at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington Michigan. The burial followed at the Gunnell Cemetery in Arbela Twp. of Millington, Michigan. Memorial gifts of remembrance can be directed to the family.
