Mrs. Florence McNeil

Mrs. Florence (Burger-Kridler) Mc Neil of the Vassar and Millington area passed away suddenly Sunday morning November 4, 2012 at her residence, Florence was 82.

Florence was born in Almer Township near Caro Michigan on December 18, 1929 and was the daughter of the late Stephen & Elnora (Vaughan) Burger. In February of 1947 Florence married Virgil Kridler, Virgil passed away in 1969, Florence later remarried to Larry McNeil in August of 1973, and Larry has also preceded her in death in May of 2011. For 25 years Florence worked in area hospitals as a Nurses Aid retiring in 1985.
Florence was an active member of the Millington Church of God, and her children, the grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and the great-great-grandchildren were her pride and joy.

Florence leaves her family; children, Cathy & Gene Rowe, Steve & Ruth Kridler, daughter in law Dorothy Kridler, and daughter Linda Inglis, step-son Greg McNeil, step-daughter and her husband Kim & Rick Hill, 18 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 5-great-great grandchildren, one brother & sister in-law, Charles & Norma Burger, as well as nieces, nephews and extended family. Besides her parents her husband's Florence is also preceded in death by two sons, John in Oct of 2012, Ken in 1973, grandson Steven Lesko in 2007, and three sisters Mary, Eva, and Louise.

Funeral services for Florence were held Friday November 9, 2012 at the Hanlin Funeral Home, the burial followed at the East Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Saginaw. Pastor Greg Capsule delivered the funeral message and the closing prayers at the cemetery.
