Mrs. Elizabeth Lansford

Mrs. Elizabeth Yvonne (Deeds) Lansford of Millington, MI passed from our world into God’s Kingdom late Wednesday evening while at her residence, with her family at her side. Elizabeth was 83.

Elizabeth was born in De Witt Arkansas on December 26, 1933 and was the daughter of the late Thomas and Charlsie (Andrews). Elizabeth was a graduate of Jonesboro High School. In March of 1951 Elizabet married Billy Lansford, and together they celebrated 64 years of marriage before his passing in August of 2015. For 30 years Elizabeth drove school bus for the Millington Public Schools. She loved to shop, and go shopping. Most of all her pride any joy in life was her family. Elizabeth was along-time member of the Otisville Church of Christ.

Elizabeth leaves her children. Son’s Robert and Richard Lansford, a daughter and son in-law; Rhonda and Al Jordon, 14 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren, and a foster daughter Mary Ann Johnson. She leaves also a brother and sister in-law; Leo and Rosemary Hankins, and a sister Faye Luster. Elizabeth also leaves nieces, nephews, and other extended family. Besides her husband and parents, Elizabeth is preceded in death by a son Russell in 2012, and a foster daughter, Wendy Jurzysta.

As Elizabeth has requested a private service will be held and she will be laid to rest with her husband Billy at the Gunnell Cemetery, in Arbela Twp.
