Mrs. Elinor Gleason

Mrs. Elinor Ann (Stone) Gleason of Millington was called to her heavenly home early Thursday morning Sept. 15. 2011 at her residence, Elinor was 85.

Elinor Ann Stone was born in Flint Michigan on October 17, 1925, and was the daughter of the late Lyle & Edna (Smith) Stone. Elinor married Mr. Kenneth (Fleet) Gleason in 1953; Kenneth preceded her in death in 1998. Kenneth and Elinor celebrated 45 years of marriage before his passing.

Elinor leaves her family to cherish her memory: children, two sons and daughters in-law, Kenton & wife Tracy Gleason, James & wife Beth Gleason, and daughter Ann McPherson; grandchildren, Trevor, James, Mellicha, Rebecca, Dawn, Janelle, Robert, Joshua, and Shana, great granddaughters; Lillian, Morgan, Emma Lee, Oliva and Sophia, brother Barry Stone, sister Linda Conaway, and several nieces, nephews other extended family and many friends. Besides her husband Elinor is also preceded in death by a daughter Amy, and a grandson Zachary McPherson. For service information open the Service Info tab. Funeral services were held on Monday Sept 19th, 2011 at the Vassar Pineview Mennonite Church. The burial will follow at the Millington Twp. Cemetery; Pastor Roger Hazen delivered the funeral message and the closing prayers at the cemetery.
