Mrs. Donna (Edwards) Ames of Millington passed away Friday April 3, 2015 while at the Maple Wood Manor in Clio, Donna was 76.

Donna was born on the 4th of April in 1938 in Mt. Morris, Michigan and was the daughter of the late Arlie and Beatrice (Creamer) Edwards. Throughout Donna's life she had been employed at many different little shops and Bronners's in Frankenmuth. She was a long time member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Millington. On July 20th of 1963, Donna married Robert (Bob) Ames and together her and Bob have celebrated 51 years of marriage.

Donna leaves her husband Bob, two sons and a daughter in-law, Todd and his wife Allison Ames, and Timm Ames. She leaves also two grandsons Lucas, and Ryan, with a granddaughter due any day. Donna also leaves a sister Carol Saeger and her husband Rudy. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, and other extended family. Besides her parents Donna is preceded in death by a sister Cleda.

Bob and the boy's have honored Donna's request and cremation has taken place. There will be no services at the funeral home. Graveside prayer services will be held on Saturday April 11th, 2015 at the Millington Twp. Cemetery. The family welcomes your attendance. Please open the Service Info Tab for the time..
