Mrs. Beverly (Stephens) Heit

Mrs. Beverly (Stephens) Heit of Millington, Michigan passed away early Saturday morning January 12, 2019. Beverly was 78.

Beverly Stephens was the daughter of the late Herbert and Vondola (Cox) Stephens and was born in West Branch, Michigan on September 20, 1939. Beverly was married to the late Harold L. (Fuzzy) Heit, together they celebrated 61 years of marriage, before Harold passed away in November of 2018. Beverly work for 30 plus years for the State of Michigan in the State Hospital in Caro, Michigan as a cook.

Beverly is survived by her family. Her four children; Terry Barton (Tom Licavoli), Cathy (Larry) Beagle, Dan (Kim) Heit, and David (Becky) Heit.  She leaves also 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, three sisters; Margie (Mike) Takebury, Barb (Dennis) Starkey, and Sandy Poczontek, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.  Besides her husband, and parents, Beverly is also preceded in death by a brother Richard Stephens, and a sister in-law Lavinia Stephens.

In keeping with Beverly’s wishes her funeral services and burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers; memorial gifts of remembrance can be directed to her church; First Baptist Church of Vassar, 5880 W. Frankenmuth Rd. Vassar, MI 48768.
