Mrs. Beverly Eno

Mrs. Beverly J. (Blackmer) Eno, a lifelong Millington resident passed away Monday December 26, 2011 while at the Genesys Hospice Center in Goodrich,Michigan, Beverly was 89.

Beverly J. Blackmer the daughter of the late Vilas & Thalia (VanWagnen)Blackmer was born in Millington on November 28, 1922. Beverly grew up in Millington where she went to school and graduated from Millington High School. After she graduated she went on to Grace Nursing School in Detroit Michigan where she graduated in March of 1944 as an RN. Beverly retired after 30 plus years of nursing working in area hospitals and at different times working for Dr. Chapin MD here in Millington.

Beverly leaves her family, three children; Brian Thomas Eno, Christine Renfroe, and Pat & husband Wayne Burns, two granddaughters Leah & Kaitlin Burns. Beverly leaves also several nieces, nephews, and extended family. She is preceded in death by her husband Duane, one brother William Blackmer, three sisters, Theo McParlan, Marlea Yorke, and Carolyn Rohrer.

Funeral services were held at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington on Friday December 30th 2011. The burial followed at the Millington Township Cemetery.
