Mrs. Arlene Waters

Mrs. Arlene M. (Motter) Waters of Millington, MI passed away early Friday morning May 25, 2018 at her residence. Arlene was 92.

Arlene was born in Davison, Michigan on August 7, 1925, and was the daughter of the late Frances Wm. & Grace (Lawrence) Motter. Arlene was a Kitchen-Aid retiring from the Vassar Public Schools, in 1998. Everyone will remember Arlene for her friendly greetings to you as she walked every day two maybe three times a-day around town.

Left to cherish her memory; are her children. John(Deborah) Waters, Jeri Wilson, Joe Waters, Jeff(Donielle) Waters, and Jenelle Sutton. She leaves also several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Arlene leaves two sisters; Sally Gunther, and Jerry Liebengood. There are also many nieces, nephews extended family and friends. Besides her parents; Arlene is also preceded in death by; a daughter Jeanne(Nikki) Sabo in 2016, two brothers; Edward and Willy Motter, and a sister Jeanne Meinecke.

The Waters family will receive friends at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington, MI on Wednesday May 30, 2018 beginning at 12:00 pm. Funeral services for Arlene will begin at 1:00 pm also on Wednesday at the Hanlin Funeral Home. The burial will follow at the Millington Township Cemetery. Pastor Tom Vinan will deliver the funeral message, and the committal prayer at the cemetery. Memorial gifts of remembrance can be directed to the Millington Community Center.
