Mrs Arlene Rodemsky

Mrs. Arlene H. (Fischhaber) Rodemsky of Millington, Michigan passed from our world into God’s Kingdom early Friday evening January 8, 2016 while at the Fisher Senior Care and Rehab Center in Mayville, Michigan. Arlene was 92.

Arlene was born in Arbela Township, Michigan on July 22, 1923 and was the daughter of the late Alfred and Laura (Gruber) Fischhaber. On August 31, 1947 Arlene married Marvin Rodemsky. She and Marvin this past August celebrated 70 years of marriage. Arlene loved canning, bowling, crocheting, baking Christmas cookies, and collecting frogs.

Arlene leaves to cherish her memory; husband Marvin. She also leaves three children and their spouse’s: Paula and Larry Burza, Charlene and Guy Campbell, and Vincent and Michele Rodemsky. Arlene leaves also 15 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and other extended family and friends. Her sister Gladys Fischhaber preceded Arlene in death in 2014.

The Rodemsky family will receive friends at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington, MI on Monday Jan. 11, 2016 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. There will be a brief visitation on Tuesday from 12:00 pm until the services begin. Funeral services for Arlene will at the St. Paul Lutheran Church on Tuesday January 12, 2016 at 1:00 pm. The burial will follow at the Millington Township Cemetery. Pastor James Bruner will deliver the funeral message, and the closing committal prayer and services at the cemetery.
