Mrs. Jean Lagness of Millington passed away early Monday evening while at the Gentiva Hospice Center in Flint Twp. Flint MI, Jean was 82.

Born in Flint Michigan on August 13, 1931, Jean was the daughter of the late Thomas & Lura (Brown) Lynn. Jean was married to the late William Lagness, William preceded her in death in November of 1992. Jean is also preceded in death by a sister and a brother. Jean worked for several years with the Millington Public Schools as Janitor, and she also in later years after working at the school work at the Bavarian Inn Gift Shop, as the gift shop Supervisor.

Jean leaves her family three children, Linda & Robert Baker, Terry & Robert Kinney, and Mike & Janet Lagness, six grandhidren, Craig & wife Wendy Titsworth, Robert & wife Shelly Titsworth, Karyn Hawley, Sarah Kinney, Lisa Kinney, and Rachael & husband Brian Beverly, 10 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Laura & husband John Brabbs, and Bernice Tokarski. She leaves also nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.

The family has honored Jean's request and cremation has taken place. Family and friends gathered on Sunday December 1, 2013 at the Hanlin Funeral Home for a time of remembrance and sharing.
