Mr. Ronald Sharko

Mr. Ronald (Ron) Sharko of Millington, Michigan passed away early Monday evening May 10, 2015 at the Tender Care Nursing Home in Frankenmuth, Michigan. Ron was 79.

Ron was born on April 26, 1936 in Minto, South Dakota and was the son of the late Alex and Elsie (Zatonley) Sharko. On November 26 of 1957 he married Miss Evelyn Damm, and together they celebrated nearly 58 years of marriage. Ron retired in 1995 from the Buick Motor Division of General Motors where he had been employed for 29 years. Ron served our country in the US-Army during the Korean war, he was also a long time member of the UAW-Local 599.

Ron leaves to cherish his memory his wife Evelyn. He leaves also four children; Susan Bader, Shirley and Doug Dixon, Thomas Sharko, and Sandra and Jeff Edgley. Besides his wife and children Ron also leaves 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews other extended family and friends.
