Mr. Robert H. (Bob). Petzold of Millington and Arbela Twp. passed away suddenly Friday December 14, 2012 at the Hurley Memdical Center in Flint MI, Bob was 79.
Born in Arbela Twp. on July 27, 1933 Bob was the son of the late Herman & Selma (Honold) Petzold and has been a Millington and Arbela Twp resident his entire life. On May 31, 1958 Bob married his wife of 54 years Miss Lorine Knoll. Bob owned and operated his own dairy farm and was still active in its operation. He was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church where he served for many years on the Board of Trustee's. Bob also served as a 4-H Leader in wood working; he also served many terms on the Arbela Twp Board of Review, and also a five year term on the Farm Bureau Board. Bob loved working in his shop on projects, he loved traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Bob leaves his family to cherish his many memories, wife Lorine, three children, daughter and son in-law Karen & husband Randy Graham, two son's James and Larry Petzold, six grandchildren, Michael & wife Jennifer Graham, Rachelle & husband Shaun Cooper, Jena Petzold, Jared Petzold, Kourtnei Petzold & fiancée Doug St. Souver, and Zachery Petzold. Bob also leaves two sisters Wilma & husband Mervin Knoll, Norene Trappa, a brother Ron & wife JoAnne Petzold, a sister in-law, Marian Mossner, and two brother in-laws and their wives, Ed & Susan Knoll, and Martin & Lois Knoll, as well as several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Besides his parents Bob is also preceded in death by a brother Hilbert Petzold, and two brother's in-law Joseph Trappa and Earl Mosser.

Funeral services were on Wednesday December 19, 2012 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, the burial followed at the Millington Twp. Cemetery. Pastor James Bruner delivered the funeral message and the closing prayers at the cemetery.
