Robert A. (Bob) Klopf of Vassar Mi passed away early Saturday morning January 3, 2015 while at the Covenant Health Care Harrison Campus in Saginaw MI Bob was 74.
Bob was born in Fairgrove Michigan on December 17th, of 1940 and was the son of the late Gus & Francis (Russell) Klopf. On June 10th of 1959 Bob married Miss Joyce McCrumb, and together they celebrated 48 years of marriage before Joyce passed away in February of 2007. Bob later married Nancy Auenhamer on the 24th of October of 2012; he and Nancy have celebrated 2 years of marriage. Bob retired from the Steering Gear Division of General Motors in 1994 after 30 years of employment. He also served our country by doing a tour in the US-Navy serving on various air-craft carriers. Bob loved camping; his favorite place was in Pinconning Michigan, at the county campgrounds. He loved horses and at one time was very active in harness racing. Bob was aso a long time member of the St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Vassar.
Bob leaves his wife Nancy, children; Kim Sulicki & Doug, Tracy & Ed Halcro, Jackie & Jeff Wirth, his step-children; Kirk & Lisa, Karen & Paul, Mike, and Brenda & Kip. Grandchildren ; Robert, Brandon & Becca, Amanda, Tami, Ryan, Brittany & Dean, Carl & Rebecca, Ryan, Michael, Adam, Lauren, Amanda, & Ryan, Lance, Shila, two great-grandchildren,; Blayk and Bella. Bob leaves also a sister and her husband, Patty & Bob Schoenkhe, a brother Ed Nixon, two sisters in-law; Margaret, and Ella Mae, several nieces,nephews, other extend family and friends. Besides his parents and his first wife Joyce Bob is also preceded in death by a great-granddaughter Caroline.

Funeral services were private with a private burial that followed at the Eastlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Saginaw, Michigan.
