Mr. lloyd Isham

Mr. Lloyd L. Isham of Gladwin, Michigan passed away late Tuesday morning October 22, 2019 at the age of 93.

Lloyd was the son of the late Austin and Violet (Clem) Isham and was born in Flint, Michigan on May 20, 1926. Lloyd on April 11, 1947 married Miss Dorothy Brown, she precedes him in death in November of 1998. Lloyd later remarried Lucile Howard. Lloyd retired from General Motors (Chevy in the hole) after 33 years of employment as a tool maker.  As a young man Lloyd served in the US-Army during WW-II in the South Pacific. He loved to fish, watch the wildlife around his property, birds, deer, turkey’s. Lloyd love watching the classic Western movies, he was also very proud to have been a part of the Big Brothers Association of Genesee County. Lloyd was a loving father, and will be missed by all, and by his dog Lucy.

Lloyd leaves his son; Keith (Shelia) Isham, wife Luile (Howard) Isham.  He leaves also his siblings. Two brothers; Dave (Sharon) Isham, Dan (Donna) Isham, three sisters; Laurel Isham, Rose (Tom) Bogardus, and Patricia Gordon.  He leaves also nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

The Isham family will receive friend at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington, Michigan on Sunday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and from 12: 00 pm Monday until the services begin. Funeral services for Lloyd will be held on Monday October 28, 2019 at the Hanlin Funeral Home beginning at 1;00 pm. The burial with Military Honors [Conducted by the Conrad-Wager & Keene American Legion Post #164] will follow at the Millington Twp. Cemetery.  Memorial gifts of remembrance can be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association.
