Mr. Lanford Elowsky

Elowsky, Landford Gene- Of Millington, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Covenant Health Care Center -Cooper Campus in Saginaw MI with his family at his side. Landford was 60.

Landford was a warmhearted individual who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Landford also enjoyed Nascar, playing cards, caring for pets, and spending time with his family and friends.

Landford Gene Elowsky was born in Alpena, Michigan on February 11, 1952, the son of Warren Elowsky and Ruth Segar. He was the second born of four children. On February 24, 1973 Landford married his wife of nearly 36 years Lillian Elowsky (Bloodworth) in Clio, Michigan.

Landford leaves to cherish his memory his family: children; Sherry Atto and her husband Phil, Landford Jr, and Danielle; his grandchildren; Ieesha, Shai, and Alexus; Landford's mom, Ruth; and stepmom Charlene; brothers and sister, Gwendolyn, Cindy, and William; as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. Landford was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian; father, Warren and a brother, Greg.

The Elowsky family and friends gathered at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington on Monday March 26, 2012 for a time of sharing a eulogy and a brief funeral message given by Pastor Jim Horn.
