Mr. John Hennessy

Mr. John Hennessy of Bellevue Michigan formerly of Millington passed away suddenly Dec. 31, 2010 at the St. Margaret's Mercy Medical Center in Dyer Indiana, John was 58.

John was born in Flint Michigan on May 24, 1952 and was the son of the late Robert & Barbara (McLaren) Hennessy. John grew up in Millington and graduated from Millington High School, after which he furthered his education completing his bachelor's degree in education. In January of 1971 John married his wife of 39 years Miss Margaret Mays. John also served our country by serving in the US Army. John had just this past summer retired as the Director of Logistics from the Con- AGRA Food Company.

John leaves his wife Margaret, a daughter and son in-law Lori & Bryan Pratt, two grandchildren, Alexander & Allyson Pratt, two brothers and sisters in-law; Jerry & Jan Hennessy, Dean & Kathy Hennessy, extended family, brother in-law & his wife,Fred & Kim Mays, sister in-law and her husband, Julie & Mike Henry, and a sister in-law Tonya Mays. John also leaves nieces, nephews, and other extended family and many friends. Besides his parents John is preceded in death by a brother in-law Steve Mays.

HANLIN FUNERAL HOME

The family has honored John's wishes and cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life was heldon Sunday January 9 2011 at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington MI.
