Mr. Jack Monroe of Davison formerly of Millingon passed away early Saturday afternoon April 4, 2015 while at the Genesys Convalescent Center in Grand Blanc MI, Jack was 82.
Jack was born in Forest Township on the 16th of September in 1932. He was a graduate of the Millington High School class of 1950. On the 28th of July in 1951 Jack married Miss Lois Fisher and together he and Lois have celebrated 63 years of marriage. Jack retired in 1991 from the Buick Motor Division of General Motors. Jack was a pipe fitter and had 41 years of employment with Buick when he retired.
Jack leaves his wife Lois, five children; Steven Monroe, Ronald Monroe, Earl and wife Carol Monroe, Gale Monroe, and Cynthia and husband Thomas Halcomb, nineteen grandchildren, twenty three great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. Jack also leaves; a brother in-law and his wife; James and Nancy Fisher, a sister in-law Carol Themm, and also several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
