Mr. Herbert Jolly

Herbert Arthur (Art) Jolly of Millington passed away early Wednesday morning December 12, 2012 while at the Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc Township, Grand Blanc Michigan, Art was 89.

Herbert Arthur Jolly was born in Detroit Michigan on July 11, 1923 and was the son of the late Thomas & Wanetta (Kinney) Jolly Sr. In December of 1952 Art married Miss Frances Hoard , and he and Fran celebrated 44 years of marriage before her passing in 1997. Art was employed for 40 plus years at the Millington Truck Body as a welder, retiring in 1985.

Art leaves his family to cherish his memory, five children; Marilyn Jolly, Melody Syed, Bud & wife Jennie Jolly, Lori & husband Tom List, and LeAnn & husband Joe Rivard, ten grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews, and other extended family. Besides his wife and parents Art is also preceded in death by a brother Thomas Jolly Jr., and a sister Muriel Carson-

The family will receive friends at the Hanlin Funeral Home on Friday December 14, 2012 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm and also an hour before the services on Saturday.

Funeral services for Art will be on Saturday December 15, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Hanlin Funeral Home with a brief visitation after 10:00 am. The burial will follow at the Millington Twp. Cemetery in Millington. Pastor Ken Hoard will deliver the funeral message and the closing prayers at the cemetery.
