Earl Ray Green Jr. of Millington passed away suddenly Wednesday evening December 15, 2010 at the St. Mary's Medical Center in Saginaw, Earl was 35.
Earl was born in Flint Michigan on September 15, 1975 and was the son of Robyn (Leach) & Earl Ray Green Sr. Earl has been a Millington resident his entire life. Millington is where he grew up and graduated from Millington High School. For the past 10 years Earl has been employed with Lapeer Plating & Plastics in Lapeer Michigan. Earl love sports. Which most would agree is an understatement. There was never a Millington Cardinal Sporting event that Earl wasn't in some way a part of either in attendance or helping the coaches. He was seen during football season on the sidelines as the team manager, making sure the team and the coaches had whatever they needed during the game. Coach Roger Bearss said "Earl was a part of the team, I could turn and say Earl the kids need, and if Earl was able to he attended to those needs asap!" " We will miss him in the upcoming seasons, but we will never forget him." During basketball you'd see Earl at the announcer's station taking stats for who ever needed him, Boys Varsity, Girls Varsity or any of the many other teams. Any of the Cardinal teams or coaches of any athletic event could count on Earl to do whatever was needed for the kids. Earl loved to hunt, and loved his times with his dad and uncles at deer camp. Earl's love of all was family and friends there wasn't anyone who would meet Earl and not walk away as anything but a friend. We all loved him and will always wonder why now, but he'll live in the hearts of the many, many he touched. His friendly hello and a smile that was a smile that made you smile no matter how bad your day was. Saying good bye isn't what Earl would say to us I think it would be, "See ya Later".
Earl leaves to cherish his memory his parents; Earl Sr. and Robyn Green, his sister and brother in-law, Jodi & Neil Sartor, niece Mackenzie and nephew Tristian Sartor, grandparents, William (Ray) & Christina Green, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and many, many friends.(For Service Infro. click on the Service Infro. tab)
