Mr. Darry Brown

Mr. Darry Lee Brown, age 66, resident of Whitney Dr in Columbia, formerly of Millington MI passed away on Friday, March 11th , 2011 at his residence.

Born February 26, 1945 in Millington, Michigan, he was the son of the late Harold and Mae Budke Brown. He was the husband of Beverley Knapp Brown for 47 years. Darry was a retired training coordinator for General Motors. Darry was a certified deacon of Trinity Lutheran Church for six years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Kelly Brown of Columbia, TN, Vallorie (Norman) Roginski of Spring Hill, TN and Tracy (Christopher) Lundie of Grand Ledge, MI; grandchildren: Nathan Brown, Chase and Summer Roberts, Rachael Roginski, Tristan, Lance, Brooke, Luke Lundie; three sisters: Betty (Clete) Vansnepson of Bay City, MI, Neva (Lyle) Newbery of Otter Lake, MI and Holly Matthews of Vassar, MI; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son: Lannie Lee Brown; three sisters: Norma Smith, Bonnie Barfield and Nada Brown and one brother: Buster Brown.

Darry lived with God first and then family. In his younger years, he was an avid golfer and bowler. He enjoyed dancing with his wife. Darry was a good supervisor and always shared a hearty laugh with everyone. Funeral services were held the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Millington on Thursday March 17, 2011, the burial followed the services at the Flint Memorial Park Cemetery in Mt. Morris, MI.
