Mr. Curtis Fackler

Mr. Curtis Monroe Fackler, of the Tuscola and Vassar, Michigan area passed away late Thursday evening May 25, 2017 while at the Covenant Health Care- Harrison Campus in Saginaw Mi. Curtis was 78.

Curtis was the son of the late Richard and Lena (Fuller) Fackler; and was born on August 23, 1938 in Beaverton, Michigan. Curtis farmed for most of his adult life and in the winter months worked in small factories in the area. On August 3, 1957 Curtis married Miss Glenda Gray, and together they have celebrated 59 years of marriage. When Curtis was a young man he served actively with the Michigan National Guard; of which he was very proud to have been able to serve. He loved working on old gas engines and was a member of the Antique Gas Engines Club, Curtis was also a member of the Tuscola County Farm Bureau.

Curtis leaves to cherish his memory; his wife Glenda. He leaves also three children, Tod and Samantha Fackler, Joan Fackler, and Bobbi and Joe Dreyer. Five grandchildren; Amanda, Levi, Caleb, Brittney, and Dylan, five great-grandchildren; Ava, Sophia, Vivian, Curtis, and Avianna. Surviving also are his four sisters; Judy, Diane, Janet, and Patsy, his three brothers; Sam, Charles, and Roger, leaving also several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Besides his parents, Curtis is also preceded in death by two brothers, Maynard, and Theodore.

The Fackler family will receive friends at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington, MI on Monday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and on Tuesday 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral services for Curtis will be held on Wednesday May 31, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington, MI. The burial will follow at the Tuscola Township Cemetery in Tuscola MI. Memorial gifts of remembrance can be directed to a charity of your choice.
