CLAYTON SAMUEL HOWELL formerly of Millington passed away on Wednesday February 27, 2013, to be with The Lord and his wife Jenny, son Kenneth and daughter Felicia. He was born September 25 1922 to Anna and Samuel Howell on a farm in Wilmot, South Dakota, one of nine children. He is survived by his son, Jim (Maureen) Howell also 6 grandchildren (Richard, Becca, Heather, Lisa, Sam, and Matthew), 13 great grandchildren, 4 brothers and sisters (Elton, Margaret, Herschuel, and Betty), and many nieces and nephews. Clayton served as a tank commander in the 88th Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron in Europe during World War II, and retired from General Motors in plant protection. He was a loving husband for almost 70 years, a wonderful father and grandfather, and a gentle and kind soul. He loved hunting, fishing, leather-work and woodworking. He will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched

Funeral Services were held on Monday March 4, 2013 at the Hanlin Funeral Home, with a private burial that followed at the Millington Twp. Cemetery. Any Memorial Gifts of Remembrance can be directed to a charity of one's choice.
