Mr. Carl Moilanen

Carl A. Moilanen of Millington passed away late Sunday evening February 16, 2014 at his residence, Carl was 59.

Born on March 9, 1954 in Detroit MI Carl was the son of the late Carl J. & Sophie (Kauppi) Moilanen. On May 14, 1976 Carl married Debra Bergiel, he and Deb have celebrated 37 years of marriage. For several years Carl worked with DTE-Energy as a Sub-Station Operator.

Carl leaves his wife Deb, son Seth Moilanen, daughter and son in-law Erin & husband William Martell, grandchildren, Easton,Landen, and Lincoln, 3-sisters and brothers in-law, Carol & Ray Nalepka, Mary Davidson, Cathy & Kevin Maillard, Mother In-law Mrs Louise Bergiel. Carl leaves also his extended family, Diane & Bob Ray, Marty & Meg Bergiel, Dawn & Rick Szczesny, and Michael Bergiel, as well as several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Funeral Services for Carl were held on Wednesday February 19, 2014. The burial followed at the Millington Twp. Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts of remembrance can be directed to American Brian Tumor Association, Marlette Hospices, or the St. Judes Hospital.
