Mr. Burton Sebert a lifelong Millington resident passed from our world into Gods Kingdom early Friday morning November 25, 2011 while at the Brian's House in Davison MI, Burton was 89.
Burton was born on September 22, 1922 in Millington MI and was the son of William & Louisa (Dennis) Sebert. On June 11, 1944 Burton married his wife of 67 years Miss Celia Hunt. Burton retired out of the Buick Motor Division Plant #10 after 30 years of employment. He was a long time member of the Juniata Baptist Church, and a member of the Millington-Arbela Historical Society, member of the Fosters, and also a member of several other civic organizations.
Burton leaves his wife; Celia, children; son and daughter in-law Larry & Ginny Sebert, daughter and son in-law Wanda & Ronald Johnson, daughter Elaine Locke, and daughter and son in-law Julie & Kevin Torrey, 11 grandchildren; Larry W. Tony and Daryl Sebert, Teresa (Johnson) & husband Randy Swonke, Chad & wife Pauline Johnson, Nancy, Wendy, and Fred Locke, Jeremy & wife Jenny Torrey, Josh & wife Jodi Torrey, Rochelle (Torrey) & husband Matt Paulson, 11 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. Burton also leaves many nieces, nephews and other extended family. He is preceded in death by a son Carl in 1995, one brother L J. Sebert, and two sisters, Pauline Blue, and Margaret Van Wormer.

Funeral services were helded on Monday at the Juniata Baptist Church. Pastor Lyle Ohman delivered the funeral message and closing prayers at the cemetery. The burial followed at East Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Saginaw MI. Military Honors were conducted by the Conrad-Wager & Keene American Legion Post #164 of Millington. Memorial gifts of remembrance can be directed to the Juniata Baptist Church, or the Millington-Arbela Historical Society.
