Mr. Arno Ernst Keinath of Millington MI, passed from our world into God's Kingdom at his Millington residence early Tuesday August 25, 2015. Arno was 84.
Arno was the son of the late Winfred & Linda (Haubenstricker) Keinath, and was born on September 30, 1930. On June 9, 1956 Arno married Miss Marian Weiss, she and Arno celebrated 54 years of marriage before Marian passed away in May of 2010, Arno retired after 25 years from Fisher Body Coldwater Road Plant of General Motors. He served in the Us-Army, and was a lifetime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, and was a graduate of the Millington High School class of 1949.
Arno leaves his children. Timothy and Debie Keinath, Patty and Gary Williams, Dwight and Lorie Keinath, Roseann and Stanley Stricker, and a son in-law Tony Kroska.He leaves also 12- grandchildren; Jonathan & Julie, Jenelle, Hannah, Nathan, Jared, Danielle, Seth, Ryan, Katie, Travis, and Zachary, Jacob. Also 2-great grandchildren; Braelyn and Emma. Arno leaves also his siblings. Eunice & Ralph Weiss, Betty Weiss, Gerald & Diane Keinath, Edna & Darryl McLaren, and Joan & Richard Hunt. His extended family; Loraine Weiss, Norman & Edna Weiss, Marion Weiss, Marvin & Lorraine Weiss, Hildegard Huber, Ellen & Henry Bender, Margaret Keinath, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. Besides his parents, and his wife, Arno is also preceded in death by a daughter Diane (Keinath) Kroska in January of 2011. Also preceding Arno are his brothers, Clarence, Dale and Tom Keinath Sr. His extended family; Selma & Herbert Weiss, Art Weiss, Wilbur Weiss, Marie (Reinhold) Block, Andrew Weiss, Norman Huber, Victor Weiss. and Elaine Keinath.
The family will receive friends at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington MI on Friday August 28, 2015 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm and also at the St. Paul Lutheran Church on Saturday after12:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm at the St. Paul Lutheran Church on Saturday August 29. 2015. The Burial will follow at the Millington Twp. Cemetery. Pastor James Bruner will deliver the funeral message and the committal prayer at the cemetery. Memorial gifts of remembrance can be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church general fund, or the building fund. Condolences, memories and lighting a candle can be done by opening the Memory Wall tab
