Mary Ann Dalby Weber, born November 15, 1936 in Sault Ste Marie, MI died at
Covenant Memorial Hospital on 9/11/2021 at the age of 85. She was born to
Nell Kerr Plaunt was then adopted by Mary Plaunt Dalby and Keith Dalby at the age of 7
then moved to Vassar, MI. Mary was a member of the Sault Ste Marie Tribe of Chippewa
Indians and the 5th removed granddaughter of Kegallgawsonce "Little Owl" also called Emma.
Mary Ann graduated in 1955 from VHS in Vassar, MI then graduated from McConnel Airline
and Modeling School of Minneapolis, Minn. She was married in 1959 and had two children, Daniel Blair Weber
and Andra Lee Weber-Denhartog. She also has two grandchildren, Justin Kirk and Katy Kirk.
During her life she was a member of the National Organization of Women, a Red Cross
Grey Lady during the Vietnam War and played cornet in the Golden Eagle Band in Mt. Holly, NJ.
She traveled to many places but was especially fond of NJ and England.
Later in life she was an avid reader, played bridge and enjoyed gardening. She was
also a member of the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary #2380, Vassar, MI.
The family would like to invite you to Riverside Cemetery on Friday, September 17, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. for a graveside service.
