Marie Boillat-Stebbins

Marie Jo Boillat-Stebbins age 62, was called home to be with her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ; passing away peacefully at her home in Millington with her husband Bill at her side. Marie is reunited with her dad Howard Boillat Jr, her mother Josephine, and her big brother Jimmy in heaven.

Marie was born January 25, 1957 in Flint, Michigan. Marie married Bill Stebbins on July 3, 2004 at their house in Millington. What a beautiful summer day it was. Bill and Marie are members of Emanuel Baptist Church. Marie grew up in Swartz Creek, Michigan. She graduated in 1975 from Swartz Creek High School. Marie then attended Nazareth College in Kalamazoo, Michigan and graduated with her RN in nursing. Marie retired from Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc, Michigan where she was an RN with her best friend Noreen Mills for 30 years. She worked with the babies and loved her job. Marie was an ultimate giver. If her dad, mom, brothers or sisters needed anything Marie was there for them. All her life she gave to her nieces and nephews, Marie would make sure they had whatever they needed. Most of all Marie loved the Lord; and now she’s in heaven where she belongs with the other angels, where she will wait for us to join her when God calls us home.

Marie leaves to cherish her memory; her husband Bill. She also leaves her siblings; Harry Lee (Gail) Boillat, sister Diane Boillat-Budia, Ronda Boillat-Bickell (Bud), Phillip (Karen) Boillat, Mark (Vicky) Boillat, Tim Boillat, and Roxanne Boillat-Wilson. Marie also leaves many nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.

Friends may call on Monday July 1, 2019 at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington [4823 Main Street] from 11:30 am until the services begin. Funeral services will be held on Monday July 1, 2019 at 1:00 pm. Dr. David Boillat will deliver the eulogy and funeral message.  In keeping with Marie’s wishes cremation will follow.
