Loretta (LaBean) Fall

Mrs. Loretta Joyce (LaBean) Fall of Vassar, MI passed away Wednesday August 18, 2021, at the age of 86.

Loretta was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Lieber) LeBean and was born in Flint, Michigan on May 29, 1935.    On August 28, 1954, Loretta married Harry Lee Fall and together they celebrated 56 years of marriage before Harry passed away on February 22, 2011.    Loretta retired from Nursing after 25 years working as an RN- with Health Source Saginaw. Loretta loved giving her time to others even if it meant going without for herself.

Loretta leaves her family to cherish her memory. Her four children; Russ (Peg) Fall, Tim (Beth Ann) Fall, Amanda (Warren) Swackhamer, and Linda (Keith) Stahl. She also leaves 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, her siblings: Fred LaBean, Joseph LaBean, Della French, Priscilla Jakubczak, Edward LaBean, and Albert LaBean. Besides her parents and husband Loretta is also preceded in death by two sisters, Elizabeth Stubbs, and Paulette Smeaton.

The family will receive friends at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington, MI on Friday August 20, 2021, from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm, beginning at 7:00 PM the Rosary will begin.  There will be visitation at the church on Saturday morning from 10:00 am until services begin. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday August 21, 2021, beginning at 11:00 am at the St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church in Vassar, MI.  As Loretta has requested, cremation will follow the services. Memorial Gifts of Remembrance can be directed to St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church Building Project.  Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington, MI has been assisting the family with arrangements.
