Linda D. Beebe

Mrs. Linda Dee Beebe, 75, passed away on Monday, October 21, 2024, at Ascension St. Mary's Hospital in Saginaw, Michigan. 

She was born on December 16, 1948, in Pavia, Pennsylvania, as Linda Wentz, the daughter of Isaac and Naomi Marie (née Williams) Wentz. Her family moved to Michigan when she was young, and she graduated from Bendle High School. She married George Beebe in 1967, and they shared 57 years of marriage. Before retirement, Linda was a devoted foster parent. Her and George opened their hearts and home to over thirty children. Later in her career, Linda was the manager of McDonald’s in Otisville. She was also a member of the Jr. Women’s Club in Millington. 

Linda found joy in crocheting, often delicately crafting baby blankets for her loved ones and friends. She enjoyed travelling and tending to her gardens and watching the hummingbirds come and visit. Above all, Linda was immensely proud of the title "grandma," a role she embraced with love and devotion. 

She is survived by her loving husband, George; daughters: Miranda Beebe, Angel (Gale) Thompson, Amy Britton, and Christal Williams; grandchildren: Kayla, Faith, Rebecca, Alexis, Breanna, Victoria, Shyene, Edmund, Ebony, Edward, Emma, and Julia; many great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Wentz; as well as nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Millard, Arthur, Naomi Jean, and Carol Ann; and niece, Wanda.

Funeral services for Linda will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 25, 2024, at Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington; visitation begins at 10:00 AM and lasts until the time of service. Afterward, Linda will be laid to rest in Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris.
