Laura Massey

Laura Beth Massey of Millington passed away suddenly Thursday evening October 17, 2013, Laura was 17.

Laura was the daughter of Larry & Carolynn (Skindzier) Massey and was born on April 12, 1996 in Franklin Tennessee. She was senior at Millington High School and would have graduated this coming spring with the MHS class of 2014. All through her schooling Laura has been at the top of her class. She was a vibrant joyful young lady that lit up the room when she walked in. In addition to going to school, participating in school functions she was also currently working at the Hungry Howie's Pizza Shop in Frankenmuth. Laura was also attending the Tuscola County Tech Center in Caro Michigan. Though many loved her, her charm and bright smile will be missed by many but never forgotten.

Laura leaves her mom & dad; Carolynn and Larry Massey, a brother and sister in-law AJ & wife Alisha Carmona, two sisters Angela Carmona & her fiancé Mike, Lea Massey, grandparents, Pat & Wayne Gere, grandmother Mrs. Vera Hammon, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends. Laura is preceded in death by grandparents George & Jo Massey, grandfather Ted Skindzier, two cousins Mike Massey, and Alissa Ramirez.

The family will receive friends on Sunday October 20, 2013 from 1:00 to 8:00 pm at the Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday Oct.21, 2013 at the Millington Church of God, Pastor Gregg Capsule will deliver the funeral message and closing prayers.
